Titulaire d’un doctorat en histoire économique de la London School of Economics (2004), je suis Professeur Associé en Economie du Développement à Kedge Business School, Marseille, et Chercheur Associé à l’Institut de l’Asie Orientale (IAO), ENS de Lyon, IEP Lyon et l’Université Lumière Lyon 2, Lyon, France.

Mes recherches portent sur la mesure et déterminants de la croissance économique et du développement humain en général, en mettant l’accent en particulier sur des facteurs tels que les institutions et l’entrepreneuriat, notamment dans le contexte de l’Indonésie. Cette orientation a donné lieu à plusieurs publications dans le domaine des problèmes de mesure de la productivité globale des facteurs, la dynamique industrielle, l’effet de la corruption sur les performances de l’entreprise, ou l’effet de l’entrepreneuriat sur le bien-être économique. Les projets en cours étudient l’effet de l’entrepreneuriat sur le développement humain, ainsi que l’autonomisation des femmes.
