Presentation


Prof. Ohoka is currently Associate Professor of Japanese History, College of law, Nihon University (Tokyo, Japan). He received his Master’s degree from Hitotsubashi University in Social History. Professor Ohoka has been research fellow at The National Museum of Japanese History and at the Center of the Tokyo Raid and War damages. He is also a member of compiling committee of a Kodaira-City history. Presently he is member of The Historical Science Society of Japan (Rekishigaku Kenkyu-kai) and of the Japanese Society of Historical Study (Nihon-shi Kenkyu-kai). His research interests are mainly centred on urban history of Japan in twentieth century (Taisho and Showa era).
