Dr. Grossheim
Adjunct Professor at the Department of Southeast Studies at Passau University/Germany.
His research and teaching interests focus on modern Vietnamese history, Cold War history, intelligence studies and memory. He has previously been Visiting Associate Professor at the Tokyo University of Foreign Studies and at Humboldt University Berlin ; a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Center for East and Southeast Asian Studies at Lund University/Sweden ; and a Fellow of the Friedrich-Naumann-Foundation. His publications have appeared in the Journal of Vietnamese Studies, Cold War History, and Jahrbuch für Politik und Geschichte (Yearbook of Politics and History).
In late August and the beginning of September 2015, he browsed the collection of Vietnamese-language periodicals of the Lyon Institute of East Asian Studies and colected material for his current research project on "The Politics of History and Memory in Vietnam" funded by the German Research Foundation.

Junjiro Shintaku

His research interests are : Technological innovation and corporate strategies, Strategies for emerging market, Production networks in Asia, International standardization and business models.
During his stay at IAO (June 2015), he has collaborated to the research project on “smart communities in Europe and Japan, which role for mobility” focusing on the Lyon Confluence case.
