Titulaire d’un doctorat en histoire économique de la London School of Economics (2003), je suis Professeur Associé en Commerce International à KEDGE Business School, Marseille, et Chercheur à l’Institut de l’Asie Orientale (IAO), Lyon.

Mes recherches portent sur le japon dans les domaines d’historie (la période de Taishō et le début de Shōwa) et de contemporain (de 1990 jusqu’au présent) en mettant l’accent en particulier sur la relation entre les grandes entreprises et le gouvernement. Cette orientation a donné lieu à plusieurs publications dans le domaine de la construction du marché.
